Persoonia linearis

Persoonia linearis is a sparsely-branched shrub which grows about 3-4 m tall. It is common understorey in many habitats. The bark of the trunk is dark and papery.

The soft dull green leaves are narrow, to 8cm long. When young they are covered with fine hairs.

The tubed yellow flowers of Persoonia linearis are 10mm long, 1 or 2 in a leaf axil.

The succulent fruits have dark brownish stripes when mature.

Persoonia linearis flowers from December to July.
